A True Valentine's Message

I'm a few days early - but happy Valentine's! I hope we can all learn what LOVE really is. This is a sweet video that I think depicts it well.

Bod Pod

I went to BYU's Y-Be-Fit center today to have my body composition tested in their BodPod. It's similar to the old hydrostatic weighing method - except you don't have to get dunked in the pool and blow all the air out your lungs. The Bod Pod uses air rather than water displacement to measure body volume. It's very cool. And I'm happy with my results!

Hooray!

Got my grade back from Chemistry - I passed! Yeah! Final grade is a B. Which I am a-ok with seeing as I just didn't have the time to do the extra work that would have been needed to get an A on the final exam (let's just say the test was NOT easy). It's good to know that my hard work paid off. This past week sure has been nice not studying - but busy busy - so good thing I'm done. And next week is Christmas - can't wait to go visit some of my family!

Took my final yesterday - felt like it went pretty well. Will find out my grade in a few weeks. Nice to be done. And sadly, my water bottle spilled on my Chemistry book so now it's looking a little warped - up side: at least it happened after I finished using it. What to do with all this new free time on the weekends though..... well, after I get Christmas shopping out of the way....and organize my room....and make up for all those weekends of procrastinating other things.....hmm- guess it won't be so hard to figure out how to use my time after all. But how nice it is to not have to squeeze studying in anymore (for now anyway) :D

Almost Done...or done in

I just finished reading the last chapter and all the quizzes (which were due tonight before midnight) for my Chemistry class. My final is next week - ugh. I feel so unprepared. To top it off I'll be commuting to SLC & back all week for work (training for our new system). What a week it's going to be. I will be so glad when my class is over - I think it would have been better if it was a few weeks longer or a few chapters less though. I really was my own teacher for that class. And in one week I'll be able to announce that "I Survived!" Wish me luck :D
